Consumer rights & evaluating the success of an enterprise

Narrated lesson · press play

Every customer who spends money has rights — to be safe, to be told the truth, to choose freely and to be treated fairly. In this final lesson of the course we meet each of these consumer rights with everyday Namibian examples, and then look at the bodies that protect customers: the Namibia Consumer Trust, the Namibian Standards Institution (NSI) and NAMFISA. Finally we learn how to judge whether an enterprise is truly successful — using both financial and non-financial measures — because real success is much more than profit.
