- Describe the purpose of the hardware used to enable computers to communicate such as: modems, NIC (Network Interface Cards) - wired and wireless, switches, routers, satellites, wireless devices, USB Wi-Fi adapters, WAPs (wireless access points)
- Describe the characteristics of a local area network (LAN), a wide area network (WAN) and a Wireless LAN (WLAN) focusing on their strategic usage
- Differentiate between various transmission methods: Bluetooth, Near Field Communication (NFC), other wireless, cables
