- Use the IUPAC system to name and draw unbranched alkanes, alkenes, alcohols and carboxylic acids up to four carbons
- Recognise ethyl ethanoate
- State the type of compound (functional group) from a name ending in -ane, -ene, -ol or -oic acid, or from a structure
