Groups in the workplace: formal & informal

No one works completely alone. In every Namibian business — a shop, a bank, a mine, a school — people work in groups. In this lesson we learn what a group is, why people naturally come together at work, and how groups form. Then we meet the two main kinds: formal groups the business sets up on purpose, and informal groups that grow up quietly among friends — and we see how each one can help, or sometimes hinder, the work.
