Before anyone spends a single Namibian dollar, a wise entrepreneur writes the whole idea down on paper. That written document is the business plan. In this lesson we define exactly what a business plan is, walk through its seven elements one by one using a real Namibian start-up, and see the six important jobs the plan does for its owner, including why no bank will lend money without one.
