In this lesson we learn the words of genetics one at a time, tell genotype apart from phenotype, and then work real breeding crosses on the board — building a Punnett square step by step, getting the famous 3:1 ratio, and running a test cross — before meeting the breeding technology Namibian farmers use to make hardier, better animals and crops.
