Two short rounds. Flame tests — identify the cation by flame colour (Li⁺, Na⁺, K⁺, Ca²⁺, Ba²⁺). Gas tests — choose the right test (lighted splint, glowing splint, limewater, damp litmus) to identify the gas (H₂, O₂, CO₂, NH₃, Cl₂).
